These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "user") and RSRealm ("we", "us", or "our") concerning your access to and use of the https://rsrealm.com website, game client, forums, and any related services (collectively, the "Site").

By accessing or using the Site, you agree that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these terms, you must discontinue use of the Site immediately.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be indicated by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

The Site is intended for users who are at least 13 years of age. In accordance with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly permit children under the age of 13 to register or use the Site.

If you are a minor in your jurisdiction of residence (generally under the age of 18, or the age of majority where you live), you may only use the Site with the involvement, permission, and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Site, a parent or guardian of a minor represents that they consent to the minor's use of the Site and agree to these Terms of Service on the minor's behalf.

By using the Site, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements. We may suspend or terminate any account that we believe, in our sole discretion, does not meet them.

To access most features of the Site, you must register an account by providing a valid email address and date of birth, and by agreeing to these Terms of Service. Your date of birth is used to verify that you meet our minimum age requirement.

You agree to keep your password confidential and are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We reserve the right to remove, reclaim, or change a username you select if we determine, in our sole discretion, that such username is inappropriate, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Sharing your account with other players is done at your own risk, and we are not responsible for any loss of items, progress, or currency that results from account sharing. Please notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

By using the Site, you represent and warrant that:

1. All registration information you submit will be true, accurate, current, and complete.
2. You will maintain the accuracy of such information and promptly update it as necessary.
3. You have the legal capacity and agree to comply with these Terms of Service.
4. You are not under the age of 13.
5. You are not a minor in your jurisdiction of residence, or if a minor, you have received parental or guardian consent to use the Site.
6. You will not access the Site through automated or non-human means, whether through a bot, script, or otherwise.
7. You will not use the Site for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
8. Your use of the Site will not violate any applicable law or regulation.

If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current, or incomplete, we have the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Site.

You may not access or use the Site for any purpose other than that for which we make the Site available. As a user, you agree not to:

1. Use any automated programs, scripts, bots, macros, or other cheating software to interact with the Site or game.
2. Systematically retrieve data or content from the Site to create or compile a collection, database, or directory without our written permission.
3. Collect usernames, email addresses, or other user information by electronic or other means for the purpose of sending unsolicited communications.
4. Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the Site.
5. Trick, defraud, or mislead us or other users, especially in any attempt to learn sensitive account information.
6. Engage in real-world trading of in-game items, currency, or accounts for real money or items from other games.
7. Buy, sell, or transfer accounts or in-game services for real-world compensation.
8. Exploit any bug, glitch, or vulnerability in the game instead of reporting it to the Staff.
9. Interfere with, disrupt, or create an undue burden on the Site or the networks or services connected to it.
10. Attempt to impersonate another user, person, or Staff member.
11. Use any information obtained from the Site to harass, abuse, or harm another person.
12. Decipher, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer any of the software comprising the Site.
13. Upload or transmit viruses, Trojan horses, or other malicious material that interferes with use of the Site.
14. Use the Site to advertise or offer to sell goods and services without our approval.
15. Use the Site in a manner inconsistent with any applicable laws or regulations.

The Site allows you to participate in chat, forums, and other interactive features. You may create, submit, post, and display content including text, images, forum signatures, and other materials ("Contributions"). Contributions may be viewable by other users. When you create any Contributions, you represent and warrant that:

1. Your Contributions do not infringe the proprietary rights of any third party, including copyright, patent, trademark, or trade secret rights.
2. You are the creator and owner of, or have the necessary licenses and permissions to use, your Contributions.
3. Your Contributions are not false, inaccurate, or misleading.
4. Your Contributions are not unsolicited advertising, spam, or solicitation.
5. Your Contributions are not obscene, harassing, libelous, or otherwise objectionable.
6. Your Contributions do not advocate violence or incite harm against another person.
7. Your Contributions do not violate any applicable law or regulation.
8. Your Contributions do not solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 18.

By posting Contributions, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, display, and distribute your Contributions in connection with the operation and promotion of the Site. We reserve the right to edit, redact, or remove any Contributions at any time and for any reason, without notice.

The Site includes virtual items, currency, membership access, and other in-game goods and services (collectively, "Virtual Items"). Some Virtual Items and membership access may be obtained through gameplay or purchased with real money. You acknowledge and agree that:

1. Virtual Items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged, sold, or redeemed for real money, goods, or services outside of the Site.
2. You do not own any Virtual Items. What you receive is a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use Virtual Items within the Site, subject to these Terms of Service.
3. Virtual Items are not your property, are not transferable outside of permitted in-game mechanics, and cannot be inherited, gifted for real-world value, or transferred upon account closure.
4. We reserve the right to manage, regulate, modify, remove, or eliminate Virtual Items at any time, with or without notice, and without any obligation to compensate you.
5. We are not liable for any loss of Virtual Items, including loss resulting from account suspension or termination arising from a violation of these Terms of Service.

The Site offers optional paid membership that unlocks members-only features and content. Membership is sold as a one-time, fixed-duration purchase of prepaid membership time (for example, 30, 90, 180, or 365 days). Membership is not an automatically recurring subscription. We do not automatically renew or re-charge you when your membership time expires; if you wish to continue after your membership lapses, you make a new one-time purchase.

What you purchase is a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to access members-only features together with certain Virtual Items, as described in the "Virtual Items & Currency" section above. Virtual Items and membership access have no real-world monetary value and are not owned by you.

Payment processors. Payments are handled by third-party processors:

1. PayPal for standard payments.
2. CoinGate for cryptocurrency payments.

We do not collect or store your full card numbers, cryptocurrency wallet credentials, or payment security codes on our servers; these are handled directly by the applicable processor. When you make a purchase, you are also subject to the terms of service and privacy policies of PayPal or CoinGate, as applicable, and you agree to comply with them.

Prices and taxes. Unless otherwise stated, prices are listed in United States Dollars (USD). You are responsible for any taxes, duties, currency-conversion charges, or transaction fees imposed by your payment provider, financial institution, or jurisdiction. We reserve the right to change prices and membership offerings at any time.

Cryptocurrency payments. Cryptocurrency values can be highly volatile and cryptocurrency transactions are generally irreversible. When paying with cryptocurrency, you are responsible for sending the correct amount to the correct address within any time window shown by the processor. We are not responsible for losses caused by exchange-rate fluctuations, network fees, underpayment, overpayment, delayed confirmations, or funds sent incorrectly.

By completing a purchase, you represent that you are authorized to use the chosen payment method and that all payment information you provide is accurate.

Membership and Virtual Items are digital goods that are delivered and made available to your account immediately or shortly after purchase. Because of this, all sales are final and non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

We may, in our sole discretion and as a courtesy, grant a refund or credit in individual cases (for example, verified duplicate charges or a proven billing error). Granting a refund in one case does not obligate us to do so in any other case, and any granted refund may result in the removal of the corresponding membership time or Virtual Items from your account.

If you believe a charge is incorrect or unauthorized, please contact us before disputing it with your bank or payment provider. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute for a completed purchase may result in the immediate suspension or termination of your account, forfeiture of associated Virtual Items and membership time, and may require repayment of the disputed amount before access is restored. We reserve the right to refuse future service to users who abuse the refund or chargeback process.

Unless otherwise indicated, the Site and all source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, graphics, and game assets (collectively, the "Content") and the trademarks, service marks, and logos contained therein (the "Marks") are owned or controlled by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and trademark laws.

The Content and Marks are provided on the Site "AS IS" for your personal, non-commercial use only. No part of the Site, Content, or Marks may be copied, reproduced, aggregated, republished, uploaded, posted, publicly displayed, transmitted, distributed, sold, licensed, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without our express prior written permission.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site solely for personal entertainment purposes, subject to these Terms of Service.

The Site relies on and links to services provided by third parties, including payment processors (PayPal and CoinGate), email delivery (Mailgun), bot-protection (hCaptcha), and content-delivery and security services (Cloudflare). Your use of those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, availability, or practices of any third-party service.

The Site may also contain links to other websites or content originating from third parties that are not investigated, monitored, or checked for accuracy by us. If you decide to leave the Site and access third-party websites, you do so at your own risk, and these Terms of Service no longer govern.

We reserve the right to change, modify, or remove the contents of the Site at any time or for any reason at our sole discretion without notice. We also reserve the right to modify or discontinue all or part of the Site, including any features, Virtual Items, or membership benefits, without notice at any time.

We cannot guarantee the Site will be available at all times. We may experience hardware, software, or other problems or need to perform maintenance, resulting in interruptions, delays, or errors. You agree that we have no liability whatsoever for any loss, damage, or inconvenience caused by your inability to access or use the Site during any downtime or discontinuance.

THE SITE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE" BASIS. YOU AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE SITE AND OUR SERVICES WILL BE AT YOUR SOLE RISK. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS ABOUT THE ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF THE SITE'S CONTENT AND ASSUME NO LIABILITY FOR ANY ERRORS, PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OUR SERVERS, INTERRUPTION OF TRANSMISSION, BUGS OR VIRUSES, OR ANY ERRORS OR OMISSIONS IN ANY CONTENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT IT WILL CONTINUE TO BE MADE AVAILABLE INDEFINITELY.

NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE OR THESE TERMS OF SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless, including our subsidiaries, affiliates, and all of our respective officers, agents, partners, and employees, from and against any loss, damage, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees and expenses, made by any third party due to or arising out of: (1) your Contributions; (2) use of the Site; (3) breach of these Terms of Service; (4) any breach of your representations and warranties set forth herein; (5) your violation of the rights of a third party; or (6) any harmful act toward any other user of the Site.

These Terms of Service shall remain in full force and effect while you use the Site. We reserve the right to, in our sole discretion and without notice or liability, deny access to and use of the Site to any person for any reason, including breach of any representation, warranty, or covenant contained in these Terms of Service or of any applicable law or regulation.

We may terminate your account and delete any content or information you have posted at any time, without warning. If your account is terminated for a violation of these Terms of Service, any remaining membership time and Virtual Items may be forfeited without refund. If we terminate or suspend your account, you are prohibited from registering a new account under your name, a false name, or the name of any third party.

These Terms of Service and your use of the Site are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Subject to the "Dispute Resolution" section below, you agree that any judicial proceeding permitted under these Terms of Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.

Informal resolution first. Before filing any formal claim, you agree to first try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us through our Contact page and giving us at least thirty (30) days to resolve it. Most concerns can be resolved this way.

Binding arbitration. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and we agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms of Service or the Site that cannot be resolved informally will be settled by final and binding arbitration on an individual basis, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court where eligible. The arbitration will be conducted in the State of Delaware (or another mutually agreed location, or remotely) under the rules of a recognized arbitration provider.

Class-action waiver. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you and we agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims or preside over any form of class proceeding.

Some jurisdictions do not permit binding arbitration or class-action waivers; if these provisions are found unenforceable as to you, the dispute will be resolved in the courts identified in the "Governing Law & Venue" section, and the remainder of these Terms of Service will remain in effect.

We may revise these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page, and the revised terms become effective as soon as they are posted. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

These Terms of Service and any policies posted by us on the Site constitute the entire agreement between you and us. Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision shall not operate as a waiver of such right or provision. If any provision of these Terms of Service is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision is deemed severable and does not affect the validity of any remaining provisions. We may assign any or all of our rights and obligations to others at any time. There is no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship created between you and us as a result of these Terms of Service.
